Clear exposition of the research purpose, hypothesis or research questions, research methods, results/findings, implications or recommendations are expected in research topics.
- Theoretical articles should clearly identify the issue, provide a rigorous analysis of the literature, and well-formulated arguments.
- Practice-based/policy-based manuscripts are expected to outline the social context and application of theory or research to practice. These can take the form of case studies or case stories, for example.
In addition to following the general guidelines for manuscripts below, all full-length articles on formal research should include:

The abstract should state briefly the purpose of the research, the principal results, and major conclusions.
